Founded in 2020 and based in Istanbul, CSA Istanbul is a casting & talent management agency that actively provides a high-end casting service to leading TV, film and theatre productions, both Turkish and International. Our client base includes actors, writers and directors working both on stage and on screen.
Ceren Sena Akdeniz
She studied Art Management at Yeditepe University Fine Arts Faculty. Whilst studying she started working as a casting assistant within the Casting Department of Renda Güner Agency. She then moved on to work as the in-house Casting Director for Avşar Film.
Since 2014 she is working as an independent casting director for films, digital and tv series, as well as theatre productions. Her works include Turkish productions such as "Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem", "Gönül İşleri", "Köksüz". Over the years she has also worked on local casting for international films shot in Turkey. She has worked with many internationally acclaimed directors such as Terrence Malick, Bruno Gras, Marc Brummund and Tarik Saleh.
Most recently, she worked with İlker Çatak as the Casting Director of his most recent feature film "Yellow Letters/Gelbe Briefe", which went on to receive the Golden Bear Award at the 76th International Film Festival.
Talya Hecinoğlu
She studied at Robert College during high school before moving to the United Kingdom to complete her BSc in Psychology at the University of Bath. Following her degree she completed an MSc in Organisational and Social Psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and returned to İstanbul.
Since 2020 she's been working as a talent agent/personal manager for actors, directors and writers.
